Dr. Chelsea Bray graduated in 2014 from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry, where she then completed a post-graduate residency program in Cornea and Contact Lenses. Prior to that, she also received her Honours Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Ottawa in 2010. Dr. Bray is originally from the small town of Barry’s Bay, ON, in the Ottawa Valley. Dr. Bray is passionate about all aspects of optometric care and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She has a special interest in fitting specialty contact lenses, including rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses. During her optometric training, Dr. Bray completed an ocular disease rotation in Baltimore, MD, where she gained experience managing conditions of the anterior and posterior eye. She has participated in two eye care clinics in developing countries, including Ecuador and India, and she hopes to continue participating in volunteer eye care abroad in the future. In her spare time, Dr. Bray enjoys teaching and playing piano, playing hockey, travelling, and spending time with her furry companion, Izzie.
